Guerrero offers a sweet 5 song EP with obvious influences ranging from Medeski, Martin, and Wood to a homeless man with stick and a casiotone. Something's to be said about that. It has tinges of the percussion-based jazz/funk group Beat The Donkey (led by Cyro Baptista), but done it a pop-bass driven style.
Tommy Guerrero lays down some of the best free-structured jazz in a pop format available, I'm not sure this should be legal...but it is, I hope the law doesn't come down too hard. The fifth track, "Terra Unfirma," has the great combination of spacy atmosphere and percussion with a phat bassline.
