I really don't get the hype that circles around Death From Above records, their production shot the band The Rapture to MTV2 heavy rotation glory last year, with the most annoying single of the year "House of Jealous Lovers." Mixing dancey punkness of Gang of Four, and the glitchy electronics, of well any boring electronic artist of today does not really add up to making this compilation album anymore interesting than any of there other releases. While being slightly more hip to play at your party than say the Vengaboys, it doesn't mean it will be any more pleasureable.
What this comp lacks in quality they try to make up for in quanity, by making this a daunting 3 disc listen, pefect for your next all night rave, oh wait thats right it isn't 1997. I really can't wait until DFA becomes huge, so they stop clogging the indie channels with their low brow attempt at danceable rock music.
